On Friday, December 4th, at the Paris COP21 Conference, CarbonOrO received a Climate Champion award from Climate-KIC. CarbonOrO co-founder Pieter Verberne was in Paris to accept the prize and made a plea for an agreement on carbon pricing and Carbon Capture & Storage in order to mitigate climate change.
Climate-KIC is the EU’s largest public private partnership addressing climate change through innovation to build a zero carbon economy. Climate-KIC is supported by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), a body of the European Union.
